On our Ultimate Escape trip, we’ll take you across the pristine waters of Lake Taupo by boat (catamaran) to the remote shores of the Western Bays. Here you’ll see some of Lake Taupo’s most spectacular scenery, only accessible by water.
We launch the kayaks into the lake and paddle to the base of the spectacular Waihaha Waterfall, while taking in the beautiful natural scenery that surrounds the area. On return to the boat, we stop for a gourmet barbeque lunch, and a chance to swim in the crystal clear waters. After lunch we continue onto the Otopuotu Falls, a unique spot where water cascades off the cliff straight into the lake. At the end of the day, while cruising back to Taupo, enjoy a complimentary glass of bubbly or beer.
